Donna Zellner

Dr. Zellner brings strength, skill, and a whole lot of personality to the clinic. A graduate of Iowa State Veterinary School, she has a passion for emergency medicine and plays a vital role in our urgent care services—thriving in fast-paced situations where her quick thinking and clinical expertise make all the difference. She is also currently expanding her skillset by pursuing specialization in ultrasound diagnostics. A former bodybuilder and mom of three, Dr. Zellner somehow balances it all—though her version of “spare time” mostly comes after caring for what can only be described as her own personal zoo. At home, she looks after dogs, cats, geese, guineas, ducks, and nearly 40 chickens. When she does find a moment to herself, you might catch her diving into a good book, fitting in a workout, or scrolling the latest beauty trends on TikTok. A proud Slytherin, she brings that same ambition, determination, and sharp instinct into her work every day. With her dedication to patient care and love for all creatures—feathered, furred, and everything in between—Dr. Zellner is an essential part of our team and a trusted presence in urgent and critical care.
